These two sides last met earlier this year in June during the Nations League group phase. Switzerland won 1-0 after Haris Seferović scored the winner within the opening minute of the game.
However, Portugal won quite convincingly just seven days prior, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a brace in a 4-0 victory.
