England international James Maddison has returned back from injury after a two month spell on the sidelines.
Tottenham Hotspur’s’ number ten suffered an ankle injury in the frantic London derby against Chelsea at the beginning of November.
Maddison was pictured back in training this afternoon ahead of Spurs’ FA Cup fourth round match against Manchester City on Friday evening.
It is unknown whether he will feature this weekend or will have to wait until next Wednesday’s clash against Brentford in the Premier League.
In the 11 games he has played this season, he’s picked up three goals and five assists. As well as this, he won the August Premier League Player of the Month.
This demonstrates how integral he is to Ange Postecoglou’s system and Spurs’ dip in form following his absence is no coincidence.
