Fabrizio Romano has confirmed interest from Saudi side Al-Ahli in Algerian star Riyad Mahrez. However Manchester City would require a fee to let him leave, he will not be allowed to leave for free.
Mahrez has made 47 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions this season, scoring 15 goals and providing 13 assists.
While Pep Guardiola has opted for Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva as his typical wide players as of late, Riyad Mahrez has still played his part in a successful season for City, where they have won the Premier League, the FA Cup, and are in the final of the Champions League.
The 32-year-old winger is still valued at €30.00m by Transfermarkt, and the Sky Blues would want some of their previous investment returned. Mahrez signed for City in 2018 from Leicester, for a fee of around €67.00m.
Manchester City take on Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday 10th of June, in a bid to win their first Champions League title.
