According to Sky Sports, Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is ‘enthusiastic over the opportunity to steer his development back on track at Anfield’.
Liverpool have reportedly made a strong pitch to the 20-year-old’s camp ahead of a potential summer move.
Gravenberch completed an €18.5m move from Ajax last summer but he has started just one league game this season in the Bundesliga.
Bayern are willing to sell the Netherlands international however they would like to recoup their fee paid for Gravenberch as well as a small profit.
“He has a lot of capabilities, especially in an attacking sense, but he understands hard work,” Ten Hag previously said about the midfielder.
Liverpool are currently languishing in eighth and qualifying for the Champions League looks set to be a difficult task with Jurgen Klopp’s side 12 points adrift from fourth-placed Newcastle United who have played a game more.
The need for a midfield overhaul is apparent and the Dutchman could be a great addition to the Merseyside club.
