Roberto De Zerbi wants greater say on Brighton transfers

The Daily Mail report Brighton and Hove Albion boss Roberto De Zerbi wants more control on the transfers at the Amex Stadium.

The Seagulls are flying high in seventh, level on points with Liverpool in sixth and seven points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur with three games in hand.

Remarkably, despite selling two key players in the summer, Marc Cucarella and Yves Bissouma, De Zerbi’s side are on course to smash their Premier League points total record of 51, which was set last season under now Chelsea head coach Graham Potter.

The South coast side have racked up 42 points so far this season with 13 games left remaining and are in the hunt to secure European football.

De Zerbi will be keen to hold onto Moisés Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister this summer with both players attracting strong interest from other clubs.

Arsenal saw a bid rejected for Caicedo in January reportedly worth £70m.
