Ralf Rangnick advises Julian Nagelsmann to join Tottenham Hotspur

Former interim Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has advised Julian Nagelsmann to join Tottenham Hotspur and describes them as an ‘exciting club.’

Speaking to SkySportDE, Rangnick said: “Tottenham are an exciting club in many ways. They’ve one of the best stadiums in the world. They have one of the best training facilities, and Daniel Levy, who has run the club for many, many years.”

Nagelsmann reportedly rejected the Chelsea job and has expressed an interest in joining Spurs ahead of next season with German outlet BILD reporting that he is ‘very tempted’ by the prospect of managing the club.

Spurs look set to miss out on Champions League qualification after their bruising 6-1 defeat to Newcastle United at St. James’ Park last weekend.

Following the match, the North London club announced the departure of interim head coach Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason was installed as his successor until the end of the season.

Tottenham host fourth-placed Manchester United on Thursday night in what could be their last chance to salvage their Champions league qualification ambitions.

They are six points adrift from Erik ten Hag’s side having played two games more.
