Fabrizio Romano has reported that an official bid is set to follow for Kai Havertz, after the player had given his green light to Arsenal. Personal terms “will not be an issue” according to Romano.
Chelsea have set an asking price of £75m, however sources confirm they will be flexible with this price tag. Transfermarkt value Havertz at €60.00m, which is closer to the sum Chelsea would supposedly accept for the German international.
The 24-year-old has made 47 appearances for Chelsea this season in all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing one assist.
Havertz is best known at Chelsea for his UEFA Champions League final goal, beating Manchester City 1-0 after the German forward rounded Ederson to give the Blues the lead.
There has also been interest from Real Madrid in recent weeks, and Bayern Munich always seem to have their name thrown into the hat for Kai Havertz, but a move across London to Chelsea rivals Arsenal is looking the most likely as things stand.
