Fabrizio Romano has reported that the documents are now approved for Neymar’s move to Al Hilal, with the player set to travel to Saudi Arabia this week. The medical will be completed today, and PSG will receive just under a fee of €100m.
Romano said Chelsea had talks about Neymar back in June, however they opted to protect their investments in younger players, such as Mykhalio Mudryk who they bought for around €70.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
The Brazilian forward made 29 appearances for PSG in the 2022/23 campaign, scoring 18 goals and providing 17 assists, as the French giants won the League with 85 points, finishing 1 point above runners up RC Lens.
The 31-year-old will now seek a new challenge, after being told by Luis Enrique he was not in his plans going forwards, along with midfielder Marco Verratti, as reported by The Athletic.
Neymar will wear the number 10 shirt for Al Hilal, and will sign a two year contract, as reported by Romano.
