RMC Sport report that PSG and Brazil attacker Neymar is trending unlikely to be fit enough to face South Korea in the upcoming Round of 16 World Cup match between the two sides.
Brazil’s chief doctor, Rodrigo Lasmar, has given an update on the attacker’s situation, stating that in theory Neymar should be back with the ball at his feet in training on Saturday.
The PSG forward is hoping that in 48 hours he will be operational, but sources within the Brazil squad believe that it would be more reasonable for him not to take part in the game vs South Korea and hope that he can return for a possible quarter-final.
Today, Neymar was in the fitness room training with the ball for the first time. See below.
Neymar’s ankle is still swollen.
