Manchester United on verge of reaching agreement with Marcus Rashford for new deal

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Manchester United are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Marcus Rashford for a new long term deal.

They are currently in the final stages of negotiations, and Rashford is said to be very happy with Erik Ten Hag, and wants to continue with United.

The 25-year-old forward made 56 appearances this season for the Red Devils in all competitions, scoring 30 goals, and providing 11 assists. Rashford also equalled his best Premier League goal scoring tally with 17 goals, matching his 2019/20 campaign.

Transfermarkt value the England International at 80.00m, and with his contract expiring in June 2024, United want to get his contract situation tied up this summer.

Manchester United finished third in the Premier League with 75 points, re gaining Champions League football after finishing sixth in the 2021/22 campaign. The Red Devils also won the Carabao Cup this season, their first trophy since 2017 when they won the EFL Cup and the UEFA Europa League under José Mourinho.
