The Manchester Evening News report, Manchester United are monitoring Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani should they be priced out of a move for England captain Harry Kane.
The 24-year-old has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season whilst providing 14 assists and is valued at €65m according to Transfermarkt.
The French international scored in the semi-finals of the World Cup in Qatar last year as his nation progressed through to the final after defeating Morocco 2-0.
United remain keen on landing Kane this summer who is believed to be Erik ten Hag’s prime striker target and with the 29-year-old entering the final 18 months of his contact at Tottenham, it may become a deal that is attainable for the Red Devils.
United travel to the North East this weekend to face Newcastle United before hosting Brentford at Old Trafford in midweek with ten Hag’s side three points clear of the Magpies in fifth.
