Manchester United call board meeting to review Erik Ten Hag’s future

Premier League giants Manchester United have set a meeting this week to decide on Erik Ten Hag’s future.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Manchester United board are set to have an internal review meeting to determine Ten Hag’s future at the club.

The Red Devils’ directors have contacted the entourages of other managers to facilitate an appointment in the event of the Dutchman’s departure in the coming days. New owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is expected to take the final call on the managerial dilemma.

Despite enduring a challenging season, Ten Hag have navigated the injury-stricken team to lift the FA Cup by beating neighbourhood rivals Manchester City. This is the only positive argument in favour of the manager as he wants to continue with this project and bring more success to the club.

Manchester United are expected to provide an official confirmation of their decision this week as they line up possible replacements like Roberto De Zerbi, Kieran Mckenna and Mauricio Pochettino.
