Fabrizio Romano reports Leicester City are in advanced talks to Olympique Lyon winger, Tetê.
Despite many reports, the 22-year-old is currently on a short-term deal at Lyon (not a loan deal) whilst his contract with his parent club Shakhtar Donetsk is suspended due to the war in Ukraine.
The forward has scored six goals in 17 league appearances for the French side.
Leicester City have been in the market for a left-footed right sided winger and Tetê matches the profile Brendan Rodgers has been searching for.
Tetê looks set to become Leicester’s first Brazilian player barring any final complications with the deal.
The Brazilian has made 138 appearances during his career scoring 39 goals whilst assisting 25 times. Tetê has also represented Brazil at youth level.
With Leicester City currently sitting 14th in the Premier League just one point above the relegation zone, bringing in quality this window has been vital for Rodgers.
The Northen Irishman has come under scrutiny this season and since the restart following the World Cup, the foxes have failed to win a Premier League game, losing four out of their last five.
