John Percy of the Telegraph reports that Leicester City are on the verge of signing highly-rated Victor Kristiansen from FC Copenhagen for a deal believed to be worth 20M euros all in (£17M).
The potential medical will take place in the next few days if talks continue to progress well. The hope for Leicester is to secure the signing within the next 48 hours.
Kristiansen surfaced as a priority target earlier this month for Leicester City with AZ Alkmaar’s, Milos Kerkez, being the secondary focus according to Sky Sports.
The 20-year-old left back has made six appearances in the Champions League this season including an impressive performance against Manchester City in October with the Danish U21 international contributing towards a clean sheet in a goalless draw.
Leicester City are also locked in negotiations with Fiorentina’s, Nico Gonzalez and Brendan Rodgers also wants to bring in a centre-back this window. The Foxes have lost four successive Premier League matches since the restart after the World Cup.
