Leicester City are ‘working to reach an agreement’ for Stoke City defender, Harry Souttar according to Di Marzio
The east-midlands side saw a bid rejected for the 24-year-old earlier in the window but it appears the foxes are keen to bring the Australian centre-back to the King Power Stadium.
The 6’6 defender was a standout performer during Australia’s World Cup campaign which saw the Socceroos reach the knockout stage for the first time in 16 years.
Souttar may become Brendan Rodgers’s second signing of the window following the arrival of Victor Kristiansen.
Kristiansen joined the club after making a permanent switch from FC Copenhagen in a deal worth an initial £13.1m but the fee could rise by a further £4.4m with add-ons. (The Athletic)
Leicester currently sit 14th in the Premier League which leaves them just one point above the relegation zone.
Rodgers has been keen to add more quality to his side this window.
