Speaking on German television, pundit and former AC Milan and Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has stated his delight at Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus’ performances in Qatar, suggesting the Ajax man is currently the tournament’s standout player. Boateng explained:
“Kudus is the best player at the World Cup at the moment and he always impresses with what he does. It’s incredible what he can do with the ball, it will only be a matter of time before he moves, after his experience in the Netherlands, to a top club… Kudus is currently the World Cup’s best player.”
The 22-year-old will look to repeat his two impressive displays in games with Portugal and South Korea during his team’s final Group H match against Uruguay from which Ghana will need three points to be sure of making the knockout stages in Qatar.
