Jordan Henderson set for Ajax move

Ajax are currently in the final stages of negotiating a deal with former Liverpool captain, Jordan Henderson.

The Dutch giants are working on the last details of the agreement, paving the way for Henderson’s imminent move to Amsterdam with the medical examination anticipated to occur before the weekend, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Al Ettifaq has agreed to terminate Henderson’s contract after a brief six-month stint and only 19 games in Saudi Arabia.

The pursuit of Henderson aligns with Ajax’s strategic vision of blending experienced leaders with emerging talents. Henderson’s wealth of experience as Liverpool’s former captain make him an ideal addition to Ajax. The Dutch club, known for nurturing young talent, is poised to benefit from the Englishman’s leadership both on and off the pitch.

Ajax are currently 23 points behind league leaders PSV and they view Henderson as a key addition to bolster their squad and push for European qualification in the remaining months of the campaign.
