John McGinn steals show at Scotland’s Euro 2024 welcome party

John McGinn was front and centre at Scotland’s Euro 2024 welcome party on Sunday evening as the team were welcomed to their Germany base.

The Aston Villa midfielder didn’t shy away as he joined in with some Bavarian dancing.

Situated in the alpine town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Scotland play Germany in the opening game of Euro 2024 at the Allianz Arena on Friday night.

Speaking about Scotland’s difficult group, where they also play Switzerland and Hungary, manager Steve Clarke was asked about the game (h/t: STV), saying: “Obviously in a four-team group with three matches it is very important to get off to a good start.

“We recognise difficult opponents but hopefully Germany find us equally as difficult.

“I thought this would be a special place for a base camp and what a welcome.

“I think you will be fabulous hosts and I hope we can be a fabulous football team.
