João Pedro expected to leave Watford this summer

According to Fabrizio Romano, Watford forward João Pedro is preparing to get a big move in the summer amidst Premier League and Serie A interest.

Romano further states that talks surrounding his future will begin in the coming months as the season draws to an end.

The 21-year-old has scored nine goals in the Championship this season whilst providing three assists in 30 appearances for the Hornets.

Pedro joined the club as an 18-year-old in January 2020 from Brazilian side Fluminense for a fee believed to be in the region of €11.5m.

The Brazilian has surpassed just over 100 appearance for Watford since making his debut under now Bristol City boss Nigel Pearson back in June 2020.

The Hornets are currently languishing in 11th place in league, six points adrift from the play-offs with seven games remaining.

Chris Wilder’s side host relegation-threatened Huddersfield Town on Friday evening at Vicarage road before they face Coventry City on Monday.
