Jack Harrison set to sign new Leeds United deal

Leeds United winger Jack Harrison is set to sign a new and improved deal within the next 24 hours.

Harrison was close to joining relegation rivals Leicester City in January before a move was pulled by Leeds bosses in the final stages.

After the collapse of his move to the Foxes, the 26-year-old wanted reassurances before committing to a new contract.

According to Sky Sports News, ‘there is now a full agreement between the two parties, with only a few minor legal formalities to complete.’

Harrison has scored four goals this season whilst providing six assists in 27 Premier League appearances for the West Yorkshire club.

Leeds host Crystal Palace at Elland Road on Sunday before facing Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool eight days later.

Following the sacking of Jesse Marsch in February, Leeds appointed the experienced Spaniard Javi Gracia who has since guided the club up to 13th in the table.
