During Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-2 draw versus Manchester United on Thursday evening, sections of the away crowd were heard chanting towards Spurs striker Harry Kane.
United fans sang; ‘We’ll see you in June’.
When asked about the chants, Kane said: “I heard what they were saying but I’m just focused on this team and trying to finish strongly.”
Reports have emerged in the last few weeks suggesting United are planing to bid for Kane who is out of contract in just over 12 months time and could be available for a reduced fee this summer.
The England captain came close to making the switch to Manchester City in 2021 before the move ultimately fell through. City boss Pep Guardiola opted to sign Erling Haaland a year later.
Kane has scored 207 Premier league goals and is one goal away from equaling United legend Wayne Rooney’s total.
