Following Graham Potter’s dismissal from Chelsea on Sunday, the 47-year-old has emerged as the favourite for the vacant Leicester City job.
Chelsea were beaten 2-0 at home to Unai Emery’s Aston Villa side on Sunday which ultimately turned out to be Pottter’s last game in charge.
Brendan Rodgers departed the Foxes this weekend after suffering a last-minute 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, leaving them in the relegation zone.
The Mail online’s Tom Collomosse reports: “Leicester are interested to know Graham Potter’s plans after his Chelsea sacking.”
Collomosse further claims: “Leicester have always been huge admirers of Graham Potter. Would expect lcfc (Leicester City Football Club) at least to seek a conversation.
But would be completely understandable if, after the flux he’s experienced, the last thing Potter wants is a relegation battle.”
The East Midlands side face a crucial home fixture versus Aston Villa on Tuesday before hosting relegation rivals Bournemouth on Saturday at the King Power Stadium.
