Deadline day for Harry Kane and Bayern Munich

Fabrizio Romano has reported that today is “Harry Kane deadline day“. Sources close to the negotiation expect a final decision today for the Kane deal. All parties are waiting for Daniel Levy to communicate his decision.

The 30-year-old striker made 49 appearances for Spurs in all competitions, scoring 32 goals, and providing five assists. However despite Kane’s prolific goal scoring, Tottenham finished 8th in the Premier League, missing out on European football for the 2023/24 campaign.

With Kane entering the final year of his contract, it is now decision time on whether Levy and Tottenham will sell their captain to generate funds, or keep him for his final year and risk him leaving on a free in 2024. Bayern Munich are the main team going for the forwards signature currently, however there was previous interest from Manchester United. PSG and Real Madrid.

Transfermarkt value Kane at 90.00m, which is close to the latest bid Bayern Munich put in for the Spurs talisman. However it is believed Tottenham still want around £100m for Kane, even in the last year of his contract and at 30 years of age.
