Crystal Palace vs Manchester United match preview and predicted XIs

Manchester United take on in-form Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday with European football very much in the balance for the Red Devils.

Oliver Glasner has been a revelation for Crystal Palace since taking over from Roy Hodgson in February. His Crystal Palace side are currently one of the most in-form sides in the Premier League with three wins in their last five games.

A huge 1-0 victory against Liverpool to seemingly end their title challenge, followed by a 5-2 battering of West Ham, and a 2-0 win at home to Newcastle United mean Palace have earned a place in the Premier League next season.

In stark contrast, Manchester United have continued to fall down the table after just one win in their last six Premier League games, a 4-2 victory against already relegated Sheffield United.

Not so long ago they were challenging for the Champions League spots, now they’re at risk of not playing on the continent at all next season.

Ten Hag also finds himself on the chopping block. It’s been reported that Bayern Munich and Ajax would both be interested in giving the Dutchman a way out should he want one.

Both sides have struggled with injuries all season. Jefferson Lerma has played a huge role for Palace this season, but it’s unlikely the Colombian will feature against Manchester United.

As for United, Scott McTominay and Raphael Varane are both doubts.

Crystal Palace Predicted XI

Henderson – Clyne, Andersen, Richards – Munoz, Wharton, Hughes, Mitchell – Olise, Ayew – Mateta

Manchester United Predicted XI

Onana – Wan-Bissaka, Evans, Maguire, Dalot – Casemiro, Mainoo – Antony, Mount, Garnacho – Hojlund
