Could Tottenham make a late move for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher?

Conor Gallagher remains happy at Chelsea but the Premier League side are open to selling the English midfielder should they receive a suitable offer, according to Alex Howell.

This comes after Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a bid for Gallagher before the transfer deadline. However, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is now expected to remain at Tottenham despite interest from elsewhere, which could put an end of their pursuit of Gallagher.

The 23-year-old has 18 months remaining on his contract and if Gallagher doesn’t sign an extension before the summer, he becomes a player that would be available as Chelsea would want to avoid losing one of their best players on a free transfer in 2025.

Gallagher has been one of Chelsea’s best performers this season, and would significantly improve Tottenham’s midfield. The England international has played 28 games across all competitions for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season, creating six goals.
