Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has been subjected to interest from Everton within the last few days. The Toffees reportedly submitted a £45m bid to sign the 22-year-old.
However, according to The Athletic, Gallagher is not interested in a move to Everton this window. The midfielder is not thought to view Everton as a good option for a move.
Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Aston Villa and West Ham have all expressed their interest in Gallagher
Gallagher’s future may depend on whether Chelsea are successful in their bid to sign Enzo Fernández from Benfica this window.
Everton will be keen to replace Anthony Gordon who left the club to join Newcastle United in a move believed to be worth £45m.
It appears their efforts to sign Gallagher in this window may have taken a huge blow and with just over 24 hours remaining in the transfer window, the club must move fast.
Sean Dyche was appointed as Everton manager today before the merseyside club host league-leaders Arsenal on Saturday.
