Chelsea reject Wolves bid for Armando Broja

Wolves have had a loan bid for Chelsea striker Armando Broja rejected. The Blues are pushing for a more permanent solution while Wolves prefer a deal without an obligation at the end of the loan, according to Ben Jacobs.

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino had this to say on the Albanian: “We always need to live with the speculation. At the moment, there’s nothing to communicate. It’s quiet, so quiet, so relaxed here.”

The Argentine manager’s comments suggest that no concrete developments have occurred at this stage.

Broja has featured in 17 games so far this season, however he has only started seven of those and has just scored two goals.

The 22-year-old returned from a cruciate ligament tear in late September after over a year out but unfortunately has not been able to replicate the form he showed out on loan at Southampton during the 2021/22 season.
