Brentford manager Thomas Frank shuts down Tottenham Hotspur links

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has stated that he admires Antonio Conte and that he is very happy at Brentford when asked about the Tottenham Hotspur job links.

Conte’s future at the North London club has come under heavy scrutiny following Spurs’ round of 16 Champions League exit to AC Milan on Wednesday night.

The Italian manager spoke about his future after Tottenham’s goalless draw:

“This is not the right day to speak about my future,” said the 53-year-old.

“I have a contract with Tottenham and Tottenham know very well my thoughts. At the end of the season we meet and then make a decision.”

Frank was also quizzed about his future at Thursday’s press conference ahead of their clash versus Everton on Saturday:

“First of all they’ve a great manager I’ve studied for long time, I hope he will do important things… and then, I’m very very happy here at Brentford.”

Despite the mounting pressure surrounding Conte’s job at Tottenham, his side currently sit fourth in the Premier League going into their clash against Nottingham Forest on the weekend.
