According to Fabrizio Romano, Brentford are in advanced talks to sign Mark Flekken from SC Freiburg.
The Dutch goalkeeper has a €13m release clause which Brentford are set to activate once personal terms have been agreed. Flekken is currently valued at €7m according to Transfermarkt.
The 29-year-old will replace the current Brentford goalkeeper David Raya, who is expected to leave this summer.
Flekken has made 42 appearances this season for SC Freiburg, conceding 54 goals and keeping 15 clean sheets.
Raya has attracted interest from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur and looks set to join a top six Premier League club after four years at the Bees. The 27-year-old has a market value of €25m according to Transfermarkt. The Spaniard has one year remaining on his deal and could be available for a slightly reduced fee.
Brentford travel to Tottenham Hotspur in their penultimate game of the season before hosting reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.
