Bernardo Silva has agreed new Manchester City contract

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Bernardo Silva has now verbally agreed to sign a new contact with Manchester City. They expect the contract to be signed by the end of next week, and the deal will be valid until June 2026.

The 29-year-old played an instrumental role in Manchester City’s treble triumph, making 55 appearances in all competitions during the 2022/23 campaign. In this time, Silva scored seven goals, and provided eight assists.

Silva joined The Citizens on July 1st, 2017 for a fee of around €50.00m. Since joining the club he has been a key player for Pep Guardiola’s side, and has made 308 total appearances, scoring 55 goals and providing 59 assists. Transfermarkt now value Silva at 80.00m.

The Portuguese international has won five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four English League Cups, two Community Shields, and one Champions League in his illustrious career with Manchester City thus far.
