The Athletic have reported that Aston Villa are interested in Leeds midfielder Tyler Adams. Villa have tracked Adams for a “long time“, and he is high on their list of summer targets.
The 24-year-old made 26 appearances for Leeds in all competitions this season, after making the switch to Elland Road for around €17.00m. Transfermarkt currently value Adams at €18.00m, but Leeds could be pressured to sell due to their relegation from the Premier League this year.
Tyler Adams is also the USA National team captain, at only the age of 24 which shows his experience and leadership at such a young age. The midfielder already has 36 appearances for his country at senior level, scoring one goal.
Other clubs are said to be interested in Adams this summer, including Brighton. Both Aston Villa and the Seagulls have qualified for European football this season, and will be looking to add depth to their squad ready for the upcoming campaign.
