Argentina coach: “Enzo Fernández has a chance to play against Poland.”

Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni again insisted he would keep the same style of play for the final group stage game with Poland after his team’s 2-0 win over Mexico in Group C. However, Scaloni said that Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernández could be in line to start the match while suggesting that Poland were likely to adapt to his team’s setup, saying:

“We’re going to maintain the same style of play. As for the players, some come into the team and others miss out – our style stays the same. For a team like this, the feeling is that each game is important, regardless of if we are through or not… Poland not only has a top game but they have very technical players – we will have to take precautions… I think, when facing Argentina, our rival play in a different way… I think they will adapt to our game... Enzo Fernández has a chance to play, as the others have, if not, he’ll be an option during the course of the game. A footballer has to be prepared for both things, we haven’t on him decided yet…”
