Agent of Lautaro Martinez: “He has taken injections for every World Cup game”

The agent of Inter and Argentina striker Lautaro Martinez has revealed that the player has been dealing with an ankle issue and he has been taking injections to relieve the pain before every World Cup game.

Martinez has not had a great World Cup so far and he recently missed a big chance to put Argentina 3-1 up against Australia, leading to criticism for the striker.

Martinez’s agent Alejandro Camano recently spoke to Radio La Red (via SOSFanta) and he gave his views and insight about the situation of his client, who is said to have carried an injury to the World Cup.

He stated: “I can tell you that Lauti arrived at the World Cup with a severe pain in his ankle, a problem that is not recent. He has played every game of this World Cup with injections to relieve the pain.”

He further stated:  “Lautaro didn’t want to talk about it, he wanted to keep the focus on the team and not on his condition. But today he told me that now he feels great, perfectly.”

Martinez’s Argentina will take on the Netherlands in their next World Cup game.
