According to Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan are in concrete talks to sign Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea. He is seen as a priority target for Milan, as part of their midfield rebuild.
Loftus-Cheek is also said to be keen on the move to Italy, and the negotiations are therefore said to be progressing very well.
The 27-year-old has played 30 games for Chelsea this season with a total of 1,763 minutes played. He has also provided two assists this campaign.
Loftus-Cheek has played a number of different positions in midfield and has even played as a right wing-back for the Blues, showing his versatility and flexibility.
According to Transfermarkt, the 10-capped England international is valued at around €25.00m, and Chelsea could be willing to sell Loftus-Cheek in order to help balance their books.
The West London club face Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday, before facing Manchester United (a) and Newcastle (h) to end the season.
